CCC is a mandatory certificate provided by private organisations such as architects or engineers to newly built buildings. It was formerly provided by local authorities (PBT) following a joint inspection by the Fire Service Department (JBPM)
While FC came later, it is issued on the basis of a designated premises as defined by the Fire Service Act of 1988. The reasons for this are to guarantee that our premises are safe in light of our primary operations, which may result in fire hazards or even explosions.
As factory falls under the designated premise, FC must be applied upon obtaining the CCC.
