Thermal Detector
Thermal imaging cameras are handheld devices with an integrated display that detect heat. A thermal camera uses a heat sensor attached to a special lens to capture images. This allows engineers to quickly identify overheating components or thermal insulation gaps during building inspection. Visible light is only a small part of the electromagnetic spectrum. A thermal detection camera’s sensor allows the user to view the invisible infrared spectrum, which exists between visible light and microwaves.
