Smoke Control System

A smoke control system is a system that controls the movement of smoke and air in a building. Hot smoke tests can be used to confirm the efficacy of smoke control systems placed in buildings and other structures, such as basement car park, tunnels, subway stations, etc. It offers a way to evaluate the smoke management system of a building’s right sequential operation while a fire is simulated. Hot smoke tests are often only carried out in complex, huge buildings. However, such tests also offer an affordable method to assess the applicability of the installed system in less complicated buildings.
